1. Information We Access

1.1 App Data (Stored Locally)

Your mood entries, habit logs, context tags and booster history are stored entirely on your device. This data never leaves your device, is never uploaded to our servers, and is never shared with third parties.

1.2 App Settings (Stored Locally)

Your preferences including selected habits, onboarding responses and app settings are stored only on your device and never leave it.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• Name, email or contact information
• Precise location or GPS data
• Contacts, calendar or photos
• Health data from Apple HealthKit
• The content of your mood entries, habit logs or journal — these never leave your device

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and process payments. RevenueCat may collect:

• Subscription status and purchase history
• Device type and OS version
• Anonymised purchase analytics
• Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and vendor identifier (IDFV), which RevenueCat passes to Tenjin so subscription revenue can be matched to advertising campaigns

3.2 Apple Services

We integrate with Apple StoreKit for payment processing, which operates under Apple's Privacy Policy.

3.3 Advertising Measurement (Tenjin)

We advertise MoodMark on platforms such as TikTok. To understand which ads bring people to the app, we use Tenjin, an attribution service. If you allow tracking when asked, Tenjin receives:

• Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and vendor identifier (IDFV)
• Your IP address, used to determine your country
• App events such as opening the app, completing onboarding, logging your first mood, and starting a subscription — event names only, never their content

Tenjin shares this with TikTok solely to measure ad performance. Your mood entries, habit logs and journal are never included.

We also use Apple's SKAdNetwork, which measures installs privately without identifying you.

4. Data Storage

All mood and habit data is stored locally on your device. There is no account creation required and no cloud sync. Uninstalling the app removes all your data permanently.

5. Data Deletion

Uninstalling MoodMark removes all app data from your device instantly. There is no account to delete. To stop the advertising measurement described in section 3.3, turn off tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

6. Children's Privacy

MoodMark is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights

All Users

• Access all your data within the app
• Delete all data by uninstalling the app

EU Users (GDPR)

• Rights to access, rectification, erasure and portability apply
• Your mood and habit data is stored locally on your device, so you have full control over it
• You can withdraw consent to advertising measurement at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking

California Users (CCPA/CPRA)

• We do not sell your personal information
• We do share advertising identifiers (IDFA/IDFV) with Tenjin and TikTok for advertising measurement, which may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CPRA
• You can opt out of this sharing at any time by choosing "Ask App Not to Track", or in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• Right to know and delete applies via the app controls described above

8. Changes to This Policy

We will indicate changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated within the app.
